Action/adventure actors?

I need some idea for actors for my Gladiator action/adventure movie. I would prefer them to be black to challenge the typical stereotype. I was thinking Ving Rhames (i only know him as the gay black guy from Chuck And Larry), or Wesley Snipes perhaps, because most other black actors i know are famous for comedy.
