Do cops care about illegal fireworks in MA?

My dad and I are going up to NH to buy some fireworks for the fourth of July. We're planning to set them off on the 3rd, and have been doing so for the past handful of years. I was wondering, do cops actually care about the illegal fireworks? Every year we have a pretty huge amount of them, and we light them off in our backyard (a very big open space, it's almost like a field) along with the surrounding neighbours and it's awesome! But yeah, do cops actually care??
