Could anyone become a roman general?

Ha Goodluck. To become a general it takes 30 up to 50 years In the military IF you can survive that long. It was my goal to become sgt major of the marine corps when I was 18 and I was In the marines only 8 years and they sent me over seas 3 times into war. After what I seen I didn't wanna be a major any more what's the point. Your are equally worthless In the military
